SIREN, Wis., and HAYWARD, Wis. (WJMC) — Two local primaries were held yesterday.
In Burnett County, the Siren School District School Board election was narrowed from five to four candidates. Taking the most votes were Polly D. Imme, Corey D. Bauer, Kimberly Thiex and incumbent Eric Olson. They will appear on the ballot April 1 for two open school board seats.
In Sawyer County, for Town of Hayward chairperson, John Froemel, and Stacey Hessel secured the most votes. Benjamin Kurtzweil did not advance to the April 1 election.
There were no local primaries in Barron, Chippewa, Dunn, Polk, Rusk or Washburn counties.
